I am most delighted to share the excellent news that Dr. Weizhi Xiong<br>
(Ph.D. Duke<br>
May 2020), has been selected to receive the American Physical Society’s 2021<br>
Dissertation Award in Hadronic Physics.<br>
<br>
The citation on the award certificate is: “For outstanding contributions<br>
to the<br>
proton charge radius experiment, PRad, at<br>
Jefferson Lab, and especially for his analysis of the PRad experimental data<br>
leading to a precise determination of the proton charge radius value.”<br>
