Dear Collaborators,

Request to sign up shifts:
We have some owl shift leader and/or target operator opening starting for Sunday Owl.
Please consider to sign up for these shifts.

Update last 24 hours:
Feb 28 - day shift:
8:30 - 12:00 - MCC performed software test for the EasyButton to deliver beam safely. Around 12:30 pm back to production with Ca48 target. Accumulated good charge ~0.56C.

Feb 28 - swing shift:
Checked detector alignment.
MCC changed target ion chamber set point without consulting shift crew (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3794009).
Resume production ~6:00PM. Experience excessive trips on 1L11-1&2 cavity.
Crew chief stopped beam to Hall A and told me that Hall A is the problem (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3794062)!!
But I can't find evidence (from logbooks) that says Hall A is the problem!!
MCC contacted RF-on-call and resolved the excessive trip issue.
Around 20:45 - started production.
Performed PITA scan on 48Ca target.
Total charge accumulated during this shift: 0.53C

Feb 29 - Owl Shift:
Continued production till 1:05 am when septum magnet trip. It could not be recovered remotely. Called Tech-on-call (Bob). Bob took escorted access to reset the power supply - no success. As per Bob's suggestion I called Jack. I was not able to reach Jack. Decided to wait till morning.
Kent Paschke and Juan Carlos came up with a plan for Compton Polarimeter systematic studies with 10 micro Amp beam. Juan Carlos and Adam Zec executed the plan.
At 7:00 am called Jack. He is already aware of this problem and planning to come within about an hour and requested for controlled access.
Accumulated charge:0.36C

Feb 29 - Day Shift:
Hall surveyed and in controlled access - 9:00 am.
Jack fixed the septum power supply ~ 11:30 am.
Back to production ~ 12:30 pm.
The plan is continuing production.
