The setup inspection and checkout work was continued
in Hall B for the PrimEx-II run preparation this weekend
  (D. Dale, R. Pedroni, Pawel, Ashot).
  The current short status is:
  1) The optical contacts for the Pb-glass detectors are
about in the same condition as it was originally.
So, it is good. For the PbWO4 detectors, it is very
hard to check without disconnecting the LMS fibers
from the front. We checked few only, they are also
     looking good.
Summary for the optical contact: it looks okay and
do not require further work on this part.
It is most likely a result of having the calorimeter
in a controlled good environment for all these years.
  2) The quality of LMS optical fiber connections to the
modules was inspected. About 20% of them need to repair.
It has to be scheduled for July as one of the first things.
  3) HyCal was closed and the HV turned on. One out of five
(the top) CAEN crates did not work. Needs further check.
Signals from cosmic rays from the UVA120A sum modules
were tested. It looks like all these modules are in a
good shape (for two of them we did not see signal, but
the typical noise was there. It could be a result of
having not all HV turned on).
  4) Further check of the signals from all channels requires
     the cooling system operational.
Pawel is working on that now with the help of engineering
     group.
