Then I need to make this 6 channels dead in the MC simulation to get a correct efficiency for real data?

If everything is done  properly this should not affect cross section. Missing counters don't contribute to the yield and they also don't contribute to the flux. This cancels out in cross section. Franz is right, e-counters are read out by a single tube. T-counters have two tubes.
