Dear All,

I unfortunately will not be able to attend the PrimEx meeting today, and would suggest we cancel it. Of course the zoom meeting is always open, so feel free to join and discuss things without me.

A couple of brief updates:

  *
Alex Gnech and Lorenzo Andreoli (local theorists at JLab and ODU) have produced some calculations of the coherent photoproduction process from Helium 4 (including both Primakoff and strong interaction), and they agreed to attend a meeting sometime next month to discuss it as well as fitting strategies. It will likely be towards the end of the month, but we will coordinate that offline.
  *
Igal and I have made some progress towards understanding the calibration mismatch between data and MC, as well as the shift (and slight distortion) of the energy constrained invariant mass distribution due to photoproduction off of bounded nucleons (incoherent production). Igal has determined a suitable course of action to correct this mismatch. I can give a better update at next week's meeting and show how we can estimate associated systematic uncertainty on the yield extraction.

Apologies for the last minute cancelation, but I think we will have plenty to discuss next week.

Best Regards,
Drew
