Hi Igal,<br>

We are using the BCAL calorimeter to veto any recoiled particle<br>
that are in time with the two photon timing. That is to minimize<br>
the any possible inelastic production of eta-meson from the target<br>
4He nuclei. The elastically recoiled 4He nucleus can not pass the<br>
target and reach the BCAL (very low energies).<br>
So, in order to make a reasonable cut level the BCAL has to have some<br>
level of calibration. It can even be a very rough calibration but, it<br>
needs to be calibrated.<br>
