Dear All:
For most of you, the analysis of the 6 GeV PVDIS experiment may have
appeared dormant for the past year(s). The fact is that we have been
having weekly analysis meetings, but only within a small group of people
so we would not bother you with trivial details of the analysis.
Now I am happy to say that we have wrapped up a large fraction of the
analysis thanks to the hard work of our two graduate students, Kai Pan and
Diancheng Wang. We are still working on electromagnetic radiative
corrections (resonance data) and asymmetry analysis, but we are at a
stage where we can benefit from the expertise of a larger group of people.
So, starting next week we will send out meeting announcements to this
mailing list and I hope some of you will check in and comment on our
analysis.
(Our meetings are held on Mondays from 2 to 4pm. The location and call-in
instructions will be sent out on Fridays starting this week.)
Cheers,
Xiaochao, also for Paul and Bob.
