Subject: Solicitation of interest in newly designed JLab Cycling Jersey
Fellow cyclists,
We’re anticipating placing an order on the next generation JLab cycling jersey sometime around mid-February. We don’t anticipate any significant deviations from the attached design. The white base color with contrasting black and red accents were intended to maximize day-time visibility. Given the quality of the previous jersey, we’re using the same vendor (Pactimo). The jersey styling will be the same as before - unisex, club cut. The front will have a 45cm hidden zipper, and the back will have three stretch pockets.
Presuming we meet a minimum order of $1,000 (about 20 jerseys), the cost per short sleeve jersey (including bulk shipping) is estimated to be about $55.00. Note, like last time if you are off site then an additional shipping charge will be incurred to get the jersey to you which will be added it to your total cost.
Please reply to Steve Neilson and myself by Friday, January 20th on how many bike jerseys you would be interested in ordering. Once we get a good estimate on the quantity, we’ll follow-up with a separate e-mail requesting information on jersey sizes and pre-payment. Since these will be the same spec’s as the prior jersey, if you’re not sure about what size to order, ask someone who owns the prior version (orange/yellow/white color scheme) to see if you can try theirs on for comparison. If you don’t know anyone who owns a prior jersey, include that in your initial reply and we’ll get you in touch with someone, and/or include a PDF showing the vendor’s sizing chart (available from X-Small to 5XL). Don’t get passed by the peloton, because its unlikely that there will be any extra jerseys ordered.
Additionally, we have mailed this to the general JLab bike list plus those we know may have interest. (if you get duplicates our apologies). Please pass this on to anyone else who you think may have an interest in buying a jersey. Also, I (Will) need to make sure that everyone knows that Steve Neilson has put in the time to come up with this new design and investigate what it will take to make the purchase. A great big THANK YOU is owed to Steve for doing this.
Will and Steve
