Dear polarized physics enthusiasts and Run Group C spokespersons,

after a long hiatus punctuated only by short ad-hoc meetings with low attendance, we are finally on schedule for a regular Run Group C meeting this Thursday, August 10, at 9:30 a.m. in L207 and on Bluejeans.

A skeleton agenda has been posted - see https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Run_Group_C_Group_Meetings (also for Bluejeans info). An extensive task list (as well as other information) are on the wiki at https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Run_Group_C

I am urging everyone to add links to anything they might be willing/able to present or would like to discuss. It is very important that we get started in particular on simulations for experiments both with a beefy Moller shield (inclusive SSFs, …) and with a skinny Moller shield including the forward Tagger (DVCS, resonances,…). We likely will need different raster sizes, beam currents and perhaps even different targets for these 2 situations, and we need to begin designing the dimensions of the polarized target with this information in mind. I am asking anyone already involved in simulations (for RG C or also for the “First Experiment” simulation challenge) to join the meeting!

Thanks, and see you on Thursday - Sebastian
