Dear all,

sorry if you are getting this email twice, and sorry for the continued “messing with the schedule”. We haven’t had a proper “Run Group C” meeting in months, and next month doesn’t look any better for me (but I am very much interested to have someone else volunteer to lead the meeting in 2 weeks). For that reason, I propose that once again we have at least a 1/2 hour RGC meeting THIS Thursday, 6/29, at 9:30 followed by the regularly scheduled polarized target meeting at 10:00. Both meeting will be held as usual in L207 CC.

I am asking in particular run group C members who have in the past expressed interest in running more simulations to attend and let us know where things stand. We must make a decision on raster / target size rather sooner than later! Please also check out the To Do list at
https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Tasklist
and volunteer to take on any or the tasks.

- Sebastian

Please post/link any TARGET-related presentations you might want to give to the Wiki at

and any RG C-related presentations at

or send me the link.

Greetings, and see you tomorrow - Sebastian

We use the Bluejeans videoconferencing software.

1) For full multi-media access, connect to 7576835804 through the BlueJeans App on your computer or smartphone. Alternatively, you can enter in your web browser (*) the following URL: https://bluejeans.com/7576835804. (Most likely, your web browser will forward you to the app anyway - see below (*); you will be asked to download the app when you use Bluejeans for the first time). Follow the on-screen instructions - you should "join meeting", not "start" or "schedule your meeting". Using a computer to connect will allow you to see images from other participants and hear sound on your computer's loudspeakers. If you have a video camera (built-in or hooked up to your computer), others will be able to see you. You can share your screen or specific applications with the rest of the audience and see screens shared by others. You must have a microphone (built in or hooked up to your computer) to communicate. Ideally, you should use headphones (with integrated mike if possible) to reduce feedback; alternatively, you can mute your microphone when you are not talking. You may also dial in by phone (see below) in addition to using your computer, just for the sound. Make sure you mute both loudspeakers and (if present) microphone on your computer in that case to avoid feedback.
(*) Note: Apparently, BlueJeans has ended support for all browsers BUT Google Chrome! See for more information.

2) If this sounds all too complex, it is possible to dial in.
	• The phone nr. is 1-888-240-2560
	• The meeting ID is 7576835804 (Sebastian's ODU office phone nr). You enter this after the prompt, followed by the "#" sign, and after the 2nd prompt, press "#" again. That's it - you should be able to talk and hear us as usual; however, you won't see video and shared desktop.
