Dear all,

we now have our official charge AND DATE for the RG C readiness review -> see below. Given that there isn’t much time left, I think we need to speed up and to “synchronize” what we are working on more often than our customary 2+2 week intervals (alternating polarized target and RG C meetings) - in particular as our next polarized target meeting (which WOULD be this coming Thursday, March 7) has been pre-empted once again by the CLAS collaboration meeting. I refer you to the wiki page https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/RGC_ERR <https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/RGC_ERR> that Tony set up for us (and I updated), containing a preliminary list of to-do items and names of “responsible people”, now keyed (partially) to these charges. Please check, let me know if your name is erroneously listed (or missing), and if you would like to be added to any of the “to do” items. Please prepare to give a status report on the item with your name at the next RG C meeting, March 21. 

Note that while most of us expected that most of the attention will be on the hardware (beam line and target), there are SEVERAL questions (1,4 and 6) that specifically refer to “Physics readiness” - so all spokespersons should take those very seriously. I am particularly worried about 4 - how do we demonstrate readiness for expedient analysis? What is the projected timeline for a first publication? On what channel should that publication be? I’m not sure how we will “provide a documented track record from previous experiments” - maybe we can use EG1-DVCS as a (fairly positive) example.

Anyway, please send your feedback, thoughts, and contributions and make room in your already too busy schedule to work on those high-urgency items! - Sebastian
