Dear all,
I ran Maxime's code for PbPt measurement using elastic scattering events
with the recooked ND3 runs. These recooked runs now include the correct
HWP status.
Please find attached a table with what we measure. On the colored columns,
the results are presented depending on the HWP status, I believe it looks
fine now that it has been included in the cooking.
Then on the right part you can find the plots integrated over the two sets
of run with different target polarisations (runs 16408 to 16432 are for
the positive target polarisation, runs 16455 to 16484 are for the negative
polarisation).
The measurement for the negative polarisation part are much lower than the
NMR measurement, and than the positive polarisation.
For the positive polarisation part, run 16408 shows a strange result. I
checked the logbook and I see that it was a trigger test run, I am not
sure on the impact it has for elastic events. I plotted the results
excluding this run too (most right bottom plot).
Please tell me if you have some comments about this results, or if
something should be clarified ! Thank you and have a nice day, Noémie.
