Thursday the freshly (June 2022) NIST irradiated ND3 was loaded into the target. The small deuteron signal was found after turning on the polarizing microwaves. The microwave frequency was found to be farther away from the central frequency, indicating that the material received a high pre-irradiation dose. The polarization measured was somewhere between 0.15 and 0.2 (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4009322).

Because the cold NMR heater broke, it was decided to change to NH3 target material on Friday morning. The hall remained in Restricted Access.

Presently, the target material is being changed and we expect to ask for beam later today.

We will have our RC meeting today at 2 PM.
