I don't see any problem running with 1 s period. And you are right, with a short period 2H01 BPM readings are more trustworthy.

We went back and forth on this, but we do not see any harm running at 1 s (and it may be better for the readback from 2H01).

You may want to check the raster period. I think it is 1s right now, and I thought we wanted a 5s raster pattern, but perhaps Eugene can verify this.

We haven't change the raster configuration yet, but we are close to (run is near to end).
Maxime is in the CH ready to proceed with the changes.
So, my question is: change to
Vpp = 2.2V (X/Y);
X_off = 0.1
Y_off = -0.1
or a last minute suggestion (based on Maurik's) from Sebastion and/or Eugene

Hi Sebastian,
I thought I'd play with this a little. Saving the RasterMon histograms to a root file ("file" -> "Save Histogram File..."), and
then dividing the Raster_xy with the RasterPulser_xy to try to avoid any rastering effects. You can see a bit of an enhancement at the edges, but it becomes more clear if the histograms are rebinned first (factor of 5 in x and y) which removes any features that are caused by binning and the FADC being integer values.
It looks like we are hitting the target cup at the top and also at the bottom right. See the attached file. So maybe we do not want to move too much to the right.

We could try 2.2 Vpp on both x and y, and at the same time add an offset of -0.1 V to y to lower the beam a little. That way we would avoid the void at top and still raster over the “good part” of the target.
Similarly, we could increase the offset on x to +0.1 V.
Finally, on an unrelated note, we should ask MCC to deliver 4 nA on the FC, not 3.6 or even less.

Yes, we are touching the wall on the top slightly. The void is real, less material there. Shal we reduce the size for the next run?

OR, there is some settling of target material creating a void at the top of the cell. (we MAY be clipping the target cell at the very edge in y…)

It looks like we are a bit overrastering. I think we should reduce the size a bit. Maybe change Vpp from 2.4 to 2.3 V.

Hello RGC-ers
starting at 1:30 (during or after the MCC meeting) there will be a new Sheriff in town (kinda).
I guess that having the meeting at 14:00 will be a bit tight.
So, I propose to delay the meeting 30 min --> 14:30h. I believe there is no big conflict with the CLAS collaboration meeting (well, I should participate in the membership committee briefly)
Please let me know if there is a word against this change for today
Cheers
your humble RC
-Carlos
