Summary from Tuesday-owl (10/21/2022) to Wednesday-Owl (10/31/2022)

General Summary:
-
Yesterday was not too good for RGC. The day shift and part of the swing shift were plagued by a very trippy beam and long beam down times. This was eventually traced back to a septum magnet (XSEP4T) that had been inadvertently turned off. It was fixed around 5pm. The rest of the day went relatively well. When the beam was available, data were taken on CH2 target.

Run efficiency was mediocre, with an ABU of 11h (7am yesterday to 7am today).

Events accumulated (~7am yesterday to ~7am today): 346 M events.

Plan: Today, CEBAF will do a configuration change for Hall A (including Wien angle change) + maintenance. Hall B will be in Restricted Access. Taking advantage of the long beam down time, the target group will remove the CH2 cell, install the NH3 cell and polarize it. Once the beam is back, we will proceed with Harp scan, Moller run, raster check and production.
