[Rgc] Fwd: FT tracker?

Dear RGCers,

please let us know as soon as possible (THIS week) whether you see any advantage in installing the Forward Tagger Tracker together with the Forward Tagger for the remaining part of RG-C Part 1 (Winter 2023). If not, we can simplify the installation significantly, so this will be the default. Just to be clear: The forward tagger scintillator hodoscope and calorimeter will be installed either way; the tracker is really only needed if you want to look for charged particles at very small angles relative to the beamline (at least that’s my understanding).

Hi Everyone,

    My biggest question is whether or not the FTT will be a future driving factor behind another change over.  If not that's great but if we are going to have to take a down time to install it in the future than maybe it would be best to install now.

from my point of view (DVCS) there is no stringent need. I am all in favor
of making the work for the configuration change the least cumbersome as
possible.
