Summary from Tuesday-Day (10/10/2022) to Wednesday-Owl (10/11/2022)

General Summary:
The period was again very productive, with 16h of ABU, despite a scheduled target maintenance between 9am-11:30am. This was to anneal the current target sample (NH3) and RF-reverse its polarization. It was successful, with -73% polarization when we re-started data taking, which continued very efficiently during swing and owl shifts despite position lock troubles during the end of the day shift/beginning of swing shift. Since the target polarization was good, it was decided to split the -Pt period into two BHWP configurations, with BHWP out until ~11pm and BHWP in after ~11pm until access tomorrow around 11am. BHWP was changed around 11:10pm. 

Status: NH3 target is polarized at: -64% as of Wednesday 10/12/22 7am, according to NMR. BHWP: IN.

Events accumulated:
370M as of 7:30am (up to run 17168)

Plan:
-Wednesday, Rapid Access between 11am-2pm to change target material to carbon. Take data with BHWP IN until 9am Thursday.
-Thursday, Restricted Access between 9am-17h (covers pass-change for Hall A) for Solenoid field reversal, installing a new sample of NH3 and polarized it (negatively), a possible Hall walkthrough and other works (see Denny for the list). This will be followed by a Moller run (and if necessary, a spin dance to optimize the Wein angle) and then data taking.


We will have a RC meeting today at 2:15pm.
