During last 24 hours we took data on NH3 target with positive polarization and HWP IN. The polarization was between 78% and 74%. The microwaves were tweaked a few times by the target experts to optimize the target polarization. The beam was unstable with a lots of trips. There was a short period of time when the shift crew noticed that the orbit locks were off but the positions on BPMs were within the limits. It turned out that MCC operators switched the position locks off while they were working on ramping up the beam current for Hall C. Later the locks were turned back on (no orbit locks for 2H01 BPM). The beam disappeared at around 4am during the owl shift due to problems with one of the accelerating cavities. Accelerator is still working to fix the problems. Detector worked well most of the time, there were no major problems noticed by the shift crew.

Swing shift summary : https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4046439
Owl shift summary : https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4046594
We took roughly 220M triggers on NH3 target and HWP IN since the yesterday's day shift. We still need to take a PROD66_PIN run before flipping the HWP to OUT.
Short term plans:
Switch HWP to OUT today and take data on NH3 positive polarization and HWP IN.
Moeller run ? (the last one was Tuesday-to-Wednesday owl shift when the ND3 material was put into the target cell)
Switch polarization and/or solenoid polarity ?
The MCC white board plan currently indicates maintenance day on Thursday to extend current Hall C experiment by one day to compensate for the relatively unproductive weekend.
Run coordination meeting at 2pm.
