<p><strong>Saturday</strong> (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4124252):</p><p>Target polarization continued to hold up and we postponed target change to Sunday. Production running on ND3.  Beam issues plagued the weekend, but we took what data we could with what beam we had</p><p> </p><p><strong>Sunday</strong> (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4124891):</p><p>More beam issues, but downtime allowed for the target change to CD2 and overnight production running</p><p> </p><p><strong>Short Term Plan</strong>: Get clarity on MCC's plans for the week before deciding which target change to make. At the moment, a switch to CH2 today, followed by NH3 during RF recovery tomorrow would fit well, but the best laid plans of MCC 'gang aft agley' these past few days. There is some controversy as to a Jaffa Cake's status as a biscuit or a cake, a matter which was settled in British courts in favour of cake, at least for tax purposes. Unlike biscuits, cakes are exempt from VAT (sales tax), and a tax tribunal found in favour of cake when a manufacturer produced a giant Jaffa Cake in court to make the point that although biscuit sized, they are cakes.</p>
