Dear Marco and dear review committee,
please find in attachment our reply to your recommendations.
You'll find it also linked to the review wiki page:
https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/RGC_Summer2022_pass1_review
A list of problematic runs is provided, and our online runlists have been
updated accordingly. The RGC group will be informed of the need to refer
to the runlists before attempting data analysis.
We also provide a detailed study of the "jumps" in the FC-normalized
yields from the QA timelines, with a zoom over the run range that was
plagued by bleedthrough.
We believe that a proper analysis of the impact of the bleedthrough on our
data cannot really be done with the small statistics of pass0, but will
require the cooking of the full runs. We may end up not using the data
affected by bleedthrough, in the end, but we prefer to have the chance to
analyze them to fully understand the issue.
We will also carry out, like was done for RGB, a post-processing QA
analysis, which will lead to updated golden runs lists and, if necessary,
"golden event ranges" lists.
Thank you very much for your very useful comments!
Best regards,
Silvia on behalf of RGC
