Dear analyzers,

One reason we requested all these runs to be cooked is so we can use them for a more robust analysis of dilution factors. This should work for EVERY channel, but in particular for DIS. The idea is to analyze each of the runs (Empty, C, CH2, NH3) for the same configuration (FTon or FTout) with exactly the same selection of cuts and bins (e.g., my standard x vs. Q2 bins in the case of DIS), and normalize the counts in each bin to the total FC (now correctly calculated) for the run(s) used. Then, use the equations towards the end in my updated “ Medium-Term Run plan<https://userweb.jlab.org/~kuhn/RGC/RunPlan_FTout.pdf> “ to calculate the dilution factor for each bin. As a check, you can combine the extracted DF with the normalized counts from NH3, and plot an NH3 spectrum (W, delta-phi,… whatever you use) together with (1-DF)NH3 to see the background.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this. Best greetings - Sebastian

Hello Everyone,
The FTout runs have been cooked and can be found under the same previous directories.

Regards,
Mohammad.

Hello Silvia and Sebastian,
Following your requests though the email exchanges, the following runs have been cooked in TBT reconstruction chain using triggerMask on the electron, using coatjava release 8.3.2, followed by the analysis trains. The runs are:

NH3 - FTon: 16681, 16683, 16717, 16720, 16726, 16728, 16744, 16746, 16750, 16759, 16762, 16768, 16770, 16772
Empty - FTon: 16309
CH2 - FTon: 16300
C -FTon: 16290, 16700

The dst recon files can be found under /volatile/clas12/rg-c/production/ana_data/TBT/8.3.2/dst/recon/
The analysis skims can be found under /volatile/clas12/rg-c/production/ana_data/TBT/8.3.2/dst/train/

Ongoing:
NH3 - FTout: 16983, 16990, 16992, 17001, 17015, 17019, 17076, 17088, 17092
Empty -FTout: 16979
CH2 - FTout: 17118
C - FTout: 16877, 17138

Best regards,
Mohammad Hattawy.
