[Rgd-ana] [EXTERNAL] RG-D Update & Delayed Beam until August 18th

Dear Colleagues,

As you may have seen in Nathan's email today, the official beam delivery is
postponed now until August 18th, thus the start of the RG-D run is delayed
and the corresponding RC schedule needs to be changed. At the moment, I
will refrain from updating this schedule until we are sure when we will
practically start. The current outcome of this change is that the first two
weeks are canceled and added to the end of the run which is pushed back to
Oct. 18th. The RCs will be informed about that in a separate email.

Besides that, Mikail and I had a chance to meet with Raffaella yesterday
and we concluded the following:

   1. The RG-D trigger road and the low-efficiency Mikhail was getting once
the FTOF and PCALU is added to the DC roads are believed to be related to
different geometry variations used in my CT simulated files and the DC
roads Mikhail generated using the trigger road MC program. Both Mikhail and
I are running some tests and we need at least a week to confirm the
   results.
   2. For the AI-assisted tests that Gagik suggested, Raffaella mentioned
that they have basically a JAVA code doing that, so we don't need to start
from scratch. However, the code is currently being debugged/finalized with
the RG-K folks. Once those tests are done, she will pass the info to us so
we can modify the code to make it suitable for our final-state particle
   channels.
   3. Given JLab was closed on June 19th, the TF meeting didn't occur and
Nathan plans to hold it on June 26th, which will coincide with the JLUO
annual meeting so I am still not sure whether it will occur or not.

Those are the major updates and given that some progress needs more time to
converge, I propose skipping this Thursday's meeting and reconvening on
June 29th.

Best,

Lamiaa
