[Rgd-ana] [EXTERNAL] No RG-D Meeting Tomorrow, June 12th

Dear Colleagues,

I hope you are doing well.

Due to the ongoing JLUO meeting, we are skipping tomorrow's meeting.

As a general update, the RG-D zero-field alignment iterations are not done
yet since Raffaella reported in the last CalCom meeting that she is working
on verifying/finalizing the DC geometry maps with the Hall B engineer Bob
Miller as they realized there is some discrepancy with regard to the
position of the first wire in the first DC region, which could have an
impact on the ongoing alignment results. Thus, I decided to wait until that
is done since RG-D has been waiting since its run completion for the
optimization of the alignment/calibration suites to finalize the results of
our special zero-field run. Meanwhile, we got the green light to process
some runs for various target configurations, which await the resolution of
the recent farm issue as there was a failure in processing batch jobs in
the last few days, and none of the jobs were submitted until the
filesystems became readable again. We expect to launch some jobs either
today or tomorrow, contingent on updates in this regard.

Last but not least, I urge our students to send me titles for their
presentations on the upcoming CLAS Collaboration meeting (CCM) NPWG
sessions on Wednesday, June 26th. The given deadline to the NPWG members is
this Monday, June 17th.
