Dear Colleagues,

Thanks to those who replied to my message yesterday. Based on that, meeting at 11 AM CST will not work well for some of you; thus, let's skip tomorrow's meeting and reconvene in a week, i.e., on Wednesday, Feb. 26th.

As an update calibration and monitoring wise:

  1.
DC T2D calibration: Florian and his team finished their second iteration using the new DC calibration protocol and suite; hence, he requested producing a mini-timeline to check the quality of their work. The results seem promising, and the resolution obtained for all sectors and DC regions are greatly improved while the residual means may need some tweaks for some runs (see this link<https://clas12mon.jlab.org/rgd/pass0v9_dc/dc/timeline/>). I believe we will hear more from Florian about that during this week's CalCom meeting. We also processed the runs taken with a special DC HV setting to finalize their T00 and T2D calibrations.
  2.
As a follow-up to what was reported last week about the high QA timeline, Mathieu completed studying the code to understand various variables' meanings in order for us to validate the obtained spectra from the processed Pass0v9 data. We should have some validation results to show in next week's meeting, as both Mathieu and Matthew are working on that.

I hope this message finds you well.

I have a dentist appointment this Wednesday, Feb. 19th, at 8:30 AM, which I could not secure on a different day/time; otherwise, I have to wait two months from now. Given that it will conflict with our RG-D meeting, I have two suggestions that I need to get your feedback please, about

  1.
Delay our meeting a couple of hours, i.e., meeting instead at 11 AM CT, if that works for you;
  2.
Postpone the meeting until next week and share a brief update about the calibration status, which is still in the debugging and monitoring stage.

I look forward to hearing back from you to decide which option suits the majority.
