[Rich] RICH is taking data with cosmic muons.

Dear Fatiha and all,
Anyone can run the current monitoring program on their computer if they
have JAVA and GROOVY installed.

1. You'll need to download COATJAVA package from the github:
https://github.com/JeffersonLab/clas12-offline-software/releases

2. and also you need RICHmon "package" here:
http://jlab.org/~kenjo/richmon.tar.gz

3. And the data file is attached to this e-mail.

Please unpack coatjava and richmon in the same directory, richmon adds
two files to coatjava package, so it is important to unpack them in the
same directory.

For command line the following 4 command do the same thing described above:
wget
https://github.com/JeffersonLab/clas12-offline-software/releases/download/4a.8.1/coatjava-4a.8.1.tar.gz
wget http://jlab.org/~kenjo/richmon.tar.gz
tar -zxvf coatjava-4a.8.1.tar.gz
tar -zxvf richmon.tar.gz

Now you'll need to run:
./coatjava/bin/run-groovy ./coatjava/scripts/evMon.groovy
richtest_011417.evio.0

It should open monitoring window and starts plotting collected events at
crazy rate.
Please note that this monitoring is temporary so I don't see the reason
to move it to JAVA, even if it is very simple and could be done quickly.
Groovy is much easier for prototyping and implementing any changes.

In principle one can use the same program to plot events from et-ring,
but you need direct access to Hall B dev network.

If you take a look at ./coatjava/scripts/evMon.groovy script, it's
short, concise and pretty self-explanatory. One can use it as skeleton
to start analyzing data.

Justin is implementing current mapping to his monitoring program, it's
perfect opportunity to check if geometry is correct etc. Once the full
panel is assembled we should be able to use it.

Let me know if you have any questions,
Andrey.
