[Rsidis-mgmt] [EXTERNAL] Next meeting on Feb 12; objections to Shift counting proposal

Hi Folks,

In order to allow Peter to call in, I propose we shift our bi-weekly schedule so that our next meeting will be Wednesday Feb 12 at noon Eastern.

Arun sent a message about the plan for counting shifts towards authorship (my apologies Arun for not getting the message out sooner). To summarize:

  1.  RC counts as 7 shifts
  2.  Owl shifts count as 1.5 shifts
  3.  10 shifts for one experiment pub/12 for both experiments

We can always reduce the last requirements to 8/10 but the reason for keeping them higher is mainly that we expect it will be easier for people to come for longer periods during the summer. We can reduce them later if needed, but can’t raise them.

Please let me know by the end of the week if there are any obections.
