_*James:*_ Updated beam polarizations, adding in information for
1/2-wave plate and Wien angle. Talked with Dave Gaskell , who will
update the fit.
Looked at raw asymmetries , factoring in beam&target polarizations and
dilution factor, based on packing fractions from a particular HMS
setting (parallel, 3.2GeV, 20.2degree). This gives a preliminary physics
asymmetry A_parallel, per run. The dilution factor is more valid for DIS
region than resonances. Oscar suggested taking a weighted average of
packing fractions for further study of the asymmetries. Will try
applying dead/live-time corrections and start with kinematic binning,
startign with 1.9<W<3.0 region. Planning on finalizing target
polarization calculations i.e., the errors for calibration constants.

_*Oscar:*_ Doing qualtiy checks for the asymmetries. Looking 4.7GeV
parallel asymmetry distribution, checking errors and chi-square. Sees a
non-Gaussian/non-symmetric distribution per bin for asymmetry value.

Applied off-line beam and target polarizations to update FOM. Sent
e-mail yesterday regarding this:

"As a result, the total FOM hours have increased by 18, dominated by
the 5.9 GeV 80 deg increase of 10 h. Since the online live time numbers
I was using have been superseded, redoing the FOM with off-line values
is pending the full replay of all runs with the latest analyzer.

A new table is posted on the wiki under "Analysis", "Updated run
summary", for use in future talks, reports, etc.
https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Main_Page#Analysis"
These should be the numbers to use in talks from now on.

_*John:*_ Looking at lucite efficiencies and comparing measured with
expected, where expected is projecting from tracker + BigCal.
Efficiencies = information from lucite / information from x,y_clust
appear to be lower than expected. Will look further into this. For
resolution, taking difference of measured - expected. Apparent
double-peak for y_diff consequence of lucite_y being integer in value,
giving jump (resolution issue). Working on getting efficiency for
lucite_y for each bar.

_*Luwani: *_Looking at cluster energy distribution (e_clust) for photons
and electrons. Isolating electrons and photons by cutting cer_h>0,=0,
respectively. No trigger-type cuts applied right now. Working on
isolating pi0 events, by reconstructing pi0s similar to what Hovhannes did.

As always, please let me know if I missed anything or made a mistake.

Next meeting will be July 28th.
