[Sane-analysis] Minutes of October 06 Analysis Meeting

_*James:*_ Looking at tracking with Bdl using physics angle corrections.
Using Bdl from Oscar. Hovhannes mentioned that this is significantly
different from BdL obtained via GEANT. The physics theta appears to have
a dependence on magnetic field, due to the phi being affected by the
magnetic field. This is most prominent in the lower energies. Hovhannes
will post his Bdl on the SANE wiki page.

Calculating perpendicular asymmetries using position cuts. Essentially
divided BigCal in to 4 parts; RCS and Protvino, left and right. Jon will
provide efficiency maps (theta vs. phi) for these runs/run-ranges to use
for this.

_*Hovhannes:*_ Following up from last week, looked some more at
positrons binning in theta and fixing energy. The ratio of e+/e- seems
to be fairly constant as function of energy. The net number of e+
increases with angle, but so does the electrons. Will discuss with Mark
and Oscar.

_*Jon:*_ Following up from last week, almost finished with
cluster-energy resolution study, mentioned last week. The pion peak
seems a little off. Hovhannes will help with applying angle corrections.

_*Whit:*_ Using database, set up interface that provides diagnostic
plots relevant to detectors for each run. This would provide a quick
sanity check.

As always, please let me know if I missed anything or if I made any
mistake(s).

Next meeting will be October 13 at 15:30. During next week's meeting the
students who are giving talks at the DNP in November will provide
outlines for their talks to go over.
