Narbe and Mark suggested that the alternating jumps seen for the 4.06
GeV^2 sum of counts (plot on p. 5 of above posting) could be due to a
binning issue. Narbe confirmed it coming from intercalated 4.7 and 5.9
GeV bins, although they were listed as ~4.7 GeV in the asymmetry output
files.

The df-data comparison has been updated to reflect this conclusion (top
plot on p. 6 and bottom plot on p. 7, showing the 5.9 GeV points as the
tiny symbols). GEANT and data now look more similar.

In addition, the bottom plot on p. 6 has been corrected (the previous
version still had the wrong scale factor). The improved agreement
between the two versions of the asymmetry is encouraging.

version is available in the same folder, */a_df_numerator-Merged.pdf.
