Hi Luwani,
Thank you for the report. It seems to show that at the lower energies the
tracker is making extra two charged cluster events vs no tracker.
But there are a couple of things that are a bit unclear to me. One is why
for the case of data with the tracker the number of events = 57915 with e-
or e+ for E'>1.1 GeV is greater than the number = 44415 for E>1. GeV
(third and fourth rows of table 2, p. 4). It would seem there should be
fewer events (of any kind) with increasing E. Could this be a typo?
Another is why the sum of the cluster energies e_r(1) + e_r(2) are getting
binned in some discrete groups, rather than in a more or less continuous
distribution.
Finally, it would be good to see what are the numbers for E>1.3 GeV, which
should be more similar for tracker vs no tracker than for the lower energy
cuts. On p. 2 you say "nothing above 1.1 GeV". Do you mean there are no
events with E'> 1.1 GeV? It would also be nice to see a plot of the
differences tracker vs no tracker as a function of energy cut to see the
trend.
Cheers,
Oscar
