Hi,
Here are the plots of A1(W), A1(x) from Whit's tables using Mark's
calibration constants. It's clear that the Q^2 - W correlation
introduced by using the Bjorken x variable, as shown on the x vs W plot,
produces the artifact of A1 for different Q^2 bands having different
values at the same x. The difference is absent in the plot vs W, where
it's clear that the Q^2 dependence at fixed W is minimal.

The plots on p. 2 show SANE along with CLAS EG1b A1(Q^2>1.6 GeV^2, W>2
GeV) results from JLab's JAM database. The EG1b data in the database is
in narrow bins of W and it needs to be combined into wider bins with
better statistics to make meaningful comparisons with SANE. EG1b
collaborators have indicated that they plan to release the final version
soon.
Cheers,
Oscar
