Hi,

I have updated my draft write-up about the procedure for applying the
background corrections to our measured asymmetries that we discussed at
last week's meeting, with a section on specific application to A180 and
A90, using the fits to SLAC inclusive pion longitudinal and
perpendicular asymmetries posted on the wiki

https://userweb.jlab.org/~rondon/analysis/pairs/aparaper_sane_bkgd6-4.pdf

The procedure replaces the approximate modification of SLAC's
asymmetries measured on 15N, compared to SANE 14N, by an exact
derivation.

It also considerably simplifies the application of the pairs asymmetry
correction to our near-perp asymmetry. One important thing to keep in
mind is that the systematic errors due to the pairs dilution and
asymmetry can be applied in a straightforward way following the formula
in slide 3 of the write-up ref.[3].

This is a draft and it may have some minor changes later.

Cheers,

Oscar
