<u><b>Anusha:</b></u> Applying azimuthal (angle) corrections to try
fixing xptar vs. W correlations. This seems to make the elastic peak
shift some towards higher W. The peak is sharper though, but the xptar
data/MC seems to get worse. Shifting both data and MC. Will try
shifting only one (data) and try tweaking the correlation term. <br>

<u><b>Narbe:</b></u> Gave an update on BETA dilution factors. Tried 2
different weightings; by charge and only by cross-section. Compared
with another MC, which is a version of pol_hms_single altered to have
an acceptance similar to that for BETA. The df's weighted by
cross-section seem to agree with the other MC. These look more
reasonable. Looked at rates, luminosities, and cross-sections from both
MC's and they seem to be consistent. There seems to be some bin
migration giving events at low W, possibly from energy and position
reconstruction. Will try taking regions of scattering angle-theta
similar to what HMS had to compare.<br>

<u><b>Jon:</b></u> Studying the effects of Cerenkov cuts on the raw
asymmetries. Looked at a (parallel-field)Carbon run, parallel-field
run, and a perpendicular-field run; all 4.7GeV. Varied energy ranges.
Examining the timing peaks. This is in progress. Will add more runs and
later correct for polarization and charge.<br>

<u><b>Whit:</b></u> Produced an event display feature for his analyzer,
to look at plots relevant to each detector, to examine geometry and
timing of events. Using CODA type-5 events. Will apply a lower-bound
cut to the BigCal ADC's to cut out background/noise some. <br>

<u><b>Luwani:</b></u> Looking at pi0 asymmetries. Correcting for
polarizations. Seem to be fairly stable and consistent with 0. Will
look at average values separated by energies and angles. Will
superimpose P_B*P_T on asymmetry plot. <br>

<u><b>James:</b></u> Looking at distribution of asymmetries around the
mean value. Looking at cuts on cluster energy; greater than and less
than 0.8GeV. In progress and says there might be a bug in his code.<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Raw_Asymmetries#Distribution_of_Asymmetries_Around_Mean:_3.2F9.2F2011">https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Raw_Asymmetries#Distribution_of_Asymmetries_Around_Mean:_3.2F9.2F2011</a> <br>
Plotting asymmetries with different cuts. Looked at all of 5.9GeV
perp-field data and the other energy/field data are in progress as runs
finish replaying.<br>
