<u><b>Jon:</b></u> Extraction of kinematic coefficients for physics
asymmetries A_1 and A_2. Plotting these for both measured asymmetries
A_180 and A_80. There is slight deviation between A_180 and A_80, of
order of a few %, this is reasonable. Calculating at event level.<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/JrmCoefficients">https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/JrmCoefficients</a><br>
Will tag the polar and azimuthal angles and calculate the coefficients
by target field setting.<br>
<br>
<br>
<u><b>James:</b></u> Looked further on the runs exhibiting strange
target polarization. Used the decay curve-fit that seems to give the
most general description to update the off-line polarizations for these
several runs.
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Final_Target_Polarization#More_on_troublesome_runs:_9.2F28.2F2011">https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Final_Target_Polarization#More_on_troublesome_runs:_9.2F28.2F2011</a><br>
<br>
Made progress on applying the elastic radiative tail corrections. This
seems to improve the asymmetries and is still in progress. Applying per
bin and run. The AAC model is the on that is asymptotic.<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Radiative_Corrections#Rad_Tail_Results:_10.2F5.2F2011">https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Radiative_Corrections#Rad_Tail_Results:_10.2F5.2F2011</a><br>
Will plot the actual corrections.<br>
<br>
<br>
<u><b>Hovhannes:</b></u> Worked on polarized radiative corrections.
Comparing to CLAS(eg1b) data. The pol. radiative corrections appear to
get more sizable as Bjorken x gets smaller. Will compare with some
other models, including LSS. <br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Internal_Radiative_corrections">https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Internal_Radiative_corrections</a><br>
<br>
<br>
<u><b>Narbe:</b></u> Obtained dilution factors for BETA using SANE
binning adn preliminary packing fractions. They are around reasonable
vlaues but there are jumps. <br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Kinematics#10.2F05.2F2011">https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Kinematics#10.2F05.2F2011</a><br>
Will check on this by looking at narrower Q^2 bins with width 500 MeV. <br>
<br>
Setting up to look at HMS asymmetries. Plans on having something to
show next week.<br>
<br>
<br>
<u><b>Anusha:</b></u> Looking at ytar and yptar as functions of
invariant mass W and comparing both data and MC. Sees some
correlations in the MC. <br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Find_srast_x/y_offsets#Update_on_10.2F05.2F2011">https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Find_srast_x/y_offsets#Update_on_10.2F05.2F2011</a><br>
Will try comparing reconstructed to initial/generated in the MC and als
otry turning off multiple scattering and radiative corrections.<br>
<br>
<br>
<u><b>Luwani:</b></u> Started looking at the GEANT-MC for his pi0
production studies.<br>
<br>
<br>
As always, please let me know if I missed anything or if I made any
mistake(s).<br>
<br>
Next meeting will be October 12 at 3:30pm (JLab time).<br>
