James: Updated asymmetries with new binning (doubled
widths). Work is in progress, but seems fine, overall.
Anusha: Follow up to data/MC comparisons scaling models
(Form Factors, ...) and parameterizations. Previously done with carbon
target, now with NH3.
https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Updates_on_01/04/2012-NH3/Use_Arrington_et._al_parame._and_scaling_up_MEC%2C_Form_Factor
Obtained some preliminary elastic dilution factors.
Will try to include aluminum windows.

Hovhannes: Working further on pi0/symmetric-pair
background contribution. Noticed that generator used in MC for pi0
(Wiser) is per nucleon. Treating the integral of (MC) events with
regard to this, the pi0 contribution would be more similar to the data.
https://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Pion_Contribution
Will try with EPC.
Whit: Posted rough draft of Hall C Users' Meeting talk,
giving update on BETA-asymmetries analysis.
Working getting and identifying pions with his MC. The identification
involves comparing using conventional versus neural network.
Wrote a single-event display. Showing a good/representative ones.
Oscar/Narbe: Studying effects of BETA-block acceptance
cuts for 4.7 GeV

comparing MC
https://userweb.jlab.org/~narbe/SANE/analysis/kinematics/acceptance/122111/
and data
https://userweb.jlab.org/~narbe/SANE/analysis/kinematics/acceptance/010412/

The case for perpendicular seems to have some consistency for both data
and MC. The case for parallel field doesn't quite so much, in that the
data shows more fall-off with the acceptance cut.

As always, please let me know if I missed anything or if I made any
mistake(s).

Next meeting will be January 11th at 3:30 pm (JLab time).
