[Sbs] SBS weekly meeting

Dear SBS collaborators,

   Because of a lack of subjects/volunteers, no meeting is planned for this 
Wednesday.  While it makes sense that it is hard to find anything 
new to report right after an annual collaboration meeting, it has 
now been a month and it is time we had regular meetings again.  Anyone 
with progress (or problems) to report on a project is invited to contact 
me to be put on the schedule for the coming weeks.

   Meanwhile, this gap may provide everyone a chance to install BlueJeans 
conference software if you have not already done so.  The weekly SBS 
meeting will be accessible at:

Although no meeting is planned, this link will be active this week so we 
can all practice connecting to it.  (It should be available from 10:30 am 
for two hours.)  If you haven't already installed BlueJeans, you will want 
to do so in advance.  I was unable to get it to work on my Linux box, but 
it works on my windows laptop.

Based on past experience, we may get more dependable audio by dialing in 
and just using the network connection to share desktops (with computer 
mics and speakers muted).  Do people have experience with BlueJeans audio 
connections which differ with from that idea?
