Dear SBS collaborators,

Subjects:
  - SBS weekly meetings
  - July SBS collaboration meeting
  - DNP abstract deadline approaching

Because of the JLab User's meeting, no weekly SBS meeting is planned for
next week. The agenda for the next scheduled meeting is:
June 29 Evaristo - Tracking with INFN GEMs
          Rachel - NINO cross-talk tests
Contributions are welcome for subsequent weekly meetings.

Please don't forget to register for the SBS collaboration meeting, to be
held Thur./Fri. July 21-22 at JLab. The link for registration is:
https://misportal.jlab.org/ul/conferences/generic_conference/registration.cfm?conference_id=COLLAB-SBS-JULY2016

A rough draft of the agenda for the collaboration meeting appears below.
Please send me suggestions for changes. If question marks appear on the
subject of a talk with your name, please confirm whether you think this is
a suitable and relevant subject which you would like to present. If a
question mark appears on your name, please indicate whether you think you
are the right person to give the talk (and, if not, then who).

We have left slots for several grad student presentations of
their on-going projects. Please feel free to suggest students and topics.

Please note, if you are scheduled for a talk, that the CC wish to
emphasize what still remains to be done on each project. You may
naturally want to discuss some of the hurdles which have been overcome and
milestones reached. Please also focus on what remains and whether there
are adequate resources available and what is a reasonable timeline for
completion. Also, try to include all aspects of the project which will
need to be addressed including cabling, electronics, DAQ, analysis...

Finally, you have probably already seen the announcement of the fall DNP
meeting in Vancouver (see below, if not). Note that the deadline for
abstract submission is rapidly approaching! (July 1, Canada Day, eh?)
You are encouraged to submit abstracts related to your SBS projects.
(As usual, please keep the CC informed by sending a copy of any abstract
to me or to the soon-to-be chair, Seamus.)

 	Thanks,
 	Brian
