Dear SBS Collaborators,
I am in the Hall A coordinating committee and we are currently planning
the agenda for the upcoming winter collaboration meeting, which will
take place January 24-25, 2018. In our discussion this morning, we
agreed to reserve a ~1.5 hour block for SBS-related talks. I envision
3-5 talks on subjects of high current interest surrounding SBS physics
and apparatus. This could include a broad general overview of the SBS
physics program and apparatus, recent progress on subsystems including
detectors, targets, DAQ/etc, presentation of recently approved
experiments and/or new ideas using SBS, and/or simulations and software
development work. Please let me know if you have suggestions for
SBS-related talks for this meeting, and also whether you or any members
of your group plan to attend and would be willing to give talks, and we
can converge on an agenda for the SBS session in this meeting.
Best regards,
Andrew (for the Hall A and SBS Coordinating Committees)
