Hello all,
I posted a small slideshow from this morning's operation to rig the SBS
RICH detector out of the basement of physics and start the transfer to JLab:
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__puckett.physics.uconn.edu_2018_04_05_sbs-2Drich-2Ddetector-2Dbegins-2Djourney-2Dfrom-2Duconn-2Dto-2Djefferson-2Dlab_&d=DwICaQ&c=lz9TcOasaINaaC3U7FbMev2lsutwpI4--09aP8Lu18s&r=MZPnks1eCWWywIvDpZFRRw&m=FTLhQEJehUb5TK8Naq1p6x84THuAncIhZcAQgBFuVKo&s=ZF-TvCzH-nh4to2H-fds25hvAYmkQrFfXnhr2XYaaX4&e=
Don't worry, it was covered with a tarp and securely strapped down to
the flatbed truck for the short trip to Waterbury, and will be shipped
from Waterbury to JLab in an enclosed box truck on a secure skid with
the windows protected...
We actually postponed this operation from Tuesday due to weather. For
those on the receiving end at JLab, I will follow up with the shipment
details and delivery date when I have them.
Best regards,
Andrew
