Hello all,
We will hold our daily experiment meeting at 3:15 today in the 2nd-floor CH conference room and on BlueJeans:
https://bluejeans.com/256205934
I have good news: the run certificate has been signed, and we are authorized to resume the experiment. I want to thank everyone for all their extremely hard work and urgency in getting us to this point, especially the engineering and design and technical teams, but also the Hall and lab leadership and the review committee for helping in designing, implementing, and vetting a solution to allow us to resume.
We have much work to do now. After locking up the hall, we will start with the beam restoration at 4th pass.
Once stable beam delivery at 4th pass is established, we will start with the optics program, as the sieve slit is already installed in BigBite. Following the completion of the optics program, we will request a controlled access to remove the sieve, and start production data taking at SBS-7 kinematics for the rest of the weekend.
As of this writing, we have all shifts covered for the weekend except TO for Sunday SWING. Also, the Monday day shift is empty as of now.
Please join the RC meeting in 15 minutes for more details and discussion of our plan for running!
Best regards,
Andrew
