Lognumber 3926784<https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3926784>. Submitted by pking<https://logbooks.jlab.org/user/pking> on Sun, 10/17/2021 - 13:32<https://logbooks.jlab.org/entries?start_date=1634488336&end_date=1634495536&book=HALOG>.

Logbooks:       HALOG<https://logbooks.jlab.org/book/halog>

We have been running overnight with the SBS dipole in positive polarity at 50%. The shift crews are maintaining the list of runs on the wiki at https://sbs.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Run_Log

At about 12:00, we changed the SBS setting to negative polarity at 25% (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3926714 and https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3926736). We checked the target centering and set the target lock for Y=0.4 (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3926759). This is 0.3mm lower than we were running with SBS=+50%, and is the same as we'd been running a few days ago for the SBS off. I was expecting to have to steer further down, but the centering looked good here.
The total time for a SBS setting change is about 45 minutes from taking the cryo target out to having beam back on the cryo target.

Run 11276 is the first run on LH2 at 5uA with the new SBS setting.

We will have an RC meeting today at 3:15pm to discuss status of all subsystems and finalize our plans for beam before our 1-pass beam shuts down tomorrow morning.

Plan for this afternoon
=================
Take ~hour long runs at 5uA on the LH2 target.
At some point, we will do a threshold scan for BBCal.
