[Sbs] [New Logentry] RC Report - 2/8/2022 and a thank you!

We finished GEM R&D runs during swing shift yesterday and thanks to Camille for adjusting the beam operations limit on last moment's request (from 30 uA to 34.5 uA as per the limit set by RSAD for 2 pass running). Silviu (who was on TO shift) adjusted the cooling power to the cryo-target during these high current GEM studies. GRINCH was also turned off during these runs and turned back on afterwards. After that, we took a dummy run, finished 20M on LH2 and wrapped up the remainder of the run with data from LD2. Beam turned off at 6:00 AM sharp. All magnets and detectors were turned off immediately afterwards and the hall was put in power permit. Dave Meekins came in and started warming up of the target. 

We will not have an RC meeting today and tomorrow!

We highly appreciate the help of the Hall A leadership, MCC friends, PD, GMn and nTPE spokespersons, staff, university faculty, RadCon, survey and alignment, postdocs and in particular our GRADUATE STUDENTS  who all came together to make this a successful run! Thank you, everyone!
