<div class="">I have two important announcements about the SBS weekly meeting. </div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">1) Based on the Doodle poll results, we will keep the current weekly meeting time of Monday 11 AM for the fall semester 2020. </div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">2) As part of an effort to make the weekly meetings more productive and interesting, and to reduce the planning burden on yours truly, the CC chair, I have decided to put together a rotating schedule of weekly meeting topics in advance. </div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">The basic structure of the meeting would now be as follows: </div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Brief weekly design/engineering update: Robin (5 minutes)</div>
<div class="">Brief weekly installation/work coordination update: Jessie (5 minutes)</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Rotating topical presentation 1: 15 minutes (+5 for discussion)</div>
<div class="">Rotating topical presentation 2: 15 minutes (+5 for discussion)</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Open discussion/any other business: 10 minutes</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Under this new structure, each major project will be expected to prepare a 15-minute presentation/status update every eight weeks by the leader of that project or their delegate. With the presentation dates known in advance, this should give each
group ample time to plan for these presentations.</div>

<div class="">If you are the contact person for one of the major SBS subprojects listed, please review the schedule and mark the dates when your project is expected to be presented, and plan accordingly. </div>

<div class="">The new meeting structure starts with the UVA and INFN GEM projects next week on 8/31. I assume no meeting on 9/7 due to the Labor Day holiday. I also assume no weekly meetings on Monday, Dec. 28 or Monday, Jan 4 due to the holidays. Thanks in
