We have recently made the decision to transition from using the old FASTBUS ADCs for GEp to the new FADC-based DAQ setup. This required some rethinking of the cables required since the FADCs use LEMO inputs. Our long cables that connect the front end to the
DAQ are BNC-BNC so we need to convert these to LEMO. This can be done by either BNC to LEMO patch panels or BNC to LEMO cables. In all I need about 700 channels more which can be filled by either of the above solutions. If any of you have a few hundred or
a few dozen BNC to LEMO connectors or cables (preferably in the 2-5 meter range) that I could borrow, please let me know. The budget is tight and ordering these cables would cost north of $25k. They could be returned to you after GEp completes in 2024.</div>
