[Sbs_daq] [EXTERNAL] Caen HV Supply

If you get truly desperate for working HV supplies, I have a CAEN V6533 VME HV module with 3 channels each of +HV and -HV at UConn. However, it is only rated up to 4 kV/3 mA, so very marginal in terms of suitability for GEMs, which need to operate right at 4 kV and sometimes slightly above. On the other hand, if there happen to be a few GEMs with an optimal operating HV below 4 kV…

Anyway, the specs are here:

Hi Alex and Zeke

I think we have either one or two CAEN 1470 units. However, some of the channels are not working, but there are a couple of working ones if needed. These are 8 kV/3 mA

I do not think we have any spare Wiener channels, I plan to order one module to keep as a spare: this one is 6 kV/1 mA

Best

Hi Folks,

This might sound a little odd. If I wanted to find a functioning Caen HV supply module Mod. V6521N, is there any possibility this might just be at JLab somewhere? I have one that I know works. I am just concerned that very recently one of the 3 I have in-hand does not work properly.

Thanks,
Zeke Wertz
