    During the next two weekends, Facilities will be grinding and refinishing
    the floor in the EEL cleanroom.  Because of the chemicals being used,
    the workers will be wearing full-face respirators and the building will be
    closed to staff and users.
    
    The closure will be from 6:00 PM on November 5th to 6:00 AM on
    November 8th, and from 6:00 PM on November 12th to 6:00 AM on
    November 15th.
    
    During that time there will be NO ACCESS to the building.
    
    If there is a physical emergency that requires access to the building,
    please contact the guards at 269-5822.
    
    If there is a technical emergency that requires access to the building
    (i.e., critical systems are offline, beam operations are halted and you
    have to access the EEL to resolve the issue) contact Walt Akers at
    757/846-4810 or Bob Sperlazza at 757/310-4390.
    
    Note:  The materials that are being used are standard two-part
    epoxies and Industrial Hygiene is exercising an abundance of caution.
    The building will be continuously vented and there should be no
    impact to sensitive equipment. Having said that, the building
    temperature is likely to vary in the Target Group high bay --- so
    temperature sensitive equipment should be safeguarded.
