Sorry John,
I meant to say less flexibility on Monday at 2 pm, giving the fact that you might have time restriction for the test because of Jessie’s crew more important work schedule
Best John

Thank you for the response. We will plan to give them a look in a few hours. I am copying the RC (Eric Fuchey) on this email. We are coordinating with him and the INFN team to settle out the details. We will keep everyone updated & informed.
Best,
John

Hi John,
In my opinion, it is a good idea to conduct this test this weekend if you are available to do so, including Anu.
If you decide to do so, inform us and more importantly, keep in mind that the first UV GEM, closer to BB has the modified divider (R4 changed to .5M) therefore the HV should follow
Also, ideally all layers need to be tested, so you might also keep Holly and Zeke in the loop about what their plan is.
There will probably be less flexibility (time) to do a thorough test tomorrow
Best regards
Kondo

In my email yesterday about whether or not to conduct the GEM test this weekend I forgot to include the email from the RC about options and availability for testing the GEMs.
It is forwarded here in this email.
Best,
John

Here is this email forwarded to sbs_gems at jlab.org<mailto:sbs_gems at jlab.org>
to summarize:
the best time to checkout the GEMs is either this weekend, presumably at
any time (unless Jessie warns me of any change of plans) OR Monday around
2pm.

Dear GEM experts,
I'm reaching out to you as I know you want to check out the GEMs after the
hall incidents.
As per Jessie's input (and please Jessie correct me if I'm wrong), a good
moment to check out your detector is sometimes this weekend e.g. tomorrow,
as he and his team won't be around (unless something changes and he and
his team need to go work in the hall this weekend in which case he will
warn me.
*if that cannot happen this weekend* a right moment to check the GEM out
would be around 2pm on Monday when they are pausing on-going work in the
hall, so you can coordinate with them;
Either way *please warn me ahead of time* when you decide to check the
GEMs, just so that I can, if need be, coordinate with Jessie.
Best,
Eric
PS: I'm not entirely sure who in the group is supposed to take care of
this task, so I included as many GEM people as possible.
