[Sbs_gems] [EXTERNAL] Re: SBS GEM Meeting Wednesday at 10am

Hi All,

Due to the bad weather on Monday and the power outage on Tuesday our
activities for preparing the UV layer have been delayed a bit. Therefore we
have a very busy day today and I do not think any of the graduate students
will be able to come to the meeting today. So I will give a quick update
here:

*Current Status: *We have successfully replaced all needed 4-slot
backplanes with 3-slot backplanes in all UV layers in BB. We are
investigating two problematic APVs that came up, but this will easily be
fixed before the 11th.

*Tasks Needed:* Today we need to move the UV layer to the test lab, equip
it with all the APVs, do a pedestal test, and do a cosmic test overnight.
Then if no issues come up we will swap it with J0 tomorrow. If issues
persist we can swap on Friday instead.

Overall we still have plenty of time, but may need to work over the weekend
to get everything done.
