<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Today I’ve updated our OSPs and THAs for re-approval to begin work. In that process, I would like to bring your attention to a few things:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Once the OSPs are re-approved, I will print and post them in the Test Lab 1128A, Hall A, and EEL 125. You need to read and sign these documents.
<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">These documents require that you have certain trainings completed to work on certain tasks:<o:p></o:p></span></li><ol style="margin-top:0in" start="1" type="a">
<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">For any soldering work, you will use the PPE and complete the SAF139 training. Please let me know if you need any safety equipment.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">To use a ladder, you need SAF307.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">To work in the Hall and these ODH rooms, you need SAF103.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">You need to become a qualified electrical worker to work on the GEM electronics and perform LOTO. Our new OSPs will have LOTO and a 0V readout before
 work on the detectors. This means you need to complete the ESC001-ESC007 courses and then complete the practical. I will purchase locks to keep in the various labs.

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">A subtle detail in regards to training, you need to edit your JTA to say that these trainings are required for you (I can only edit the JTA for people
 assigned to me). Please update your JTA to include these trainings since this is how the lab is verifying and tracking these things.

<span style="font-size:11.0pt">On the JTA cover page you need to select your organization and then click on submit<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="color:black;margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">
<span style="font-size:11.0pt">From there you find your name and click on Review/Edit JTA<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="color:black;margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">
<span style="font-size:11.0pt">Near the bottom you have to select #9 Does the person in this position operate electrical equipment more than using a light switch, turning on/off appliances, or turning on/off office equipment?<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="color:black;margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">
<span style="font-size:11.0pt">When that is selected two more lines will drop down below, select number 2 “ does the person in this position work on or partner with someone who works on (maintain, repair, install, remove, disassemble, assemble) electrical equipment,
 either energized or de-energized? (Qualified Electrical/electronics worker)<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="color:black;margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">
