[Sbs_software] Assessment document: software readiness and timeline, FYI

Hello all, 

As promised, I circulate the rough assessment document for the software that I was asked to produce by Bogdan. Since it was hastily produced on short notice, it is rough and a work in progress. But please note the dates I have assumed for the various milestones in the document. These dates should guide our efforts over the next few months. It is crunch time with just a few months until installation.
